Anne-Marie Duff was born in London in London. She is an English actor. Duff has graduated from Drama Centre London in 1990, made her first television appearances in Trial & Retribution Amongst Women and Aristocrats. Anne-Marie Duff, a British actress was born in Chiswick on 8 October 1970. Anne-Marie Duff is a stage and film actor from England. The actress became well-known for her character Fiona Gallagher in the first two seasons of the UK television show Shameless. The Virgin Queen (2006) was the next, and she played Queen Elizabeth. The television series From Darkness (2013) also featured the role of the lead character. Duff played in Enigma (2001), The Magdalene Sisters Notions on a Scandal (2007) French Film (2008) The Last Station, Nowhere Boy Before Go To Sleep (2014) as well as Suffragette (2005). Her performances on the screen in Shameless and The Virgin Queen Nowhere Boy and Suffragette earned the actress BAFTA nominations for both the Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress categories and she was awarded her the BAFTA Cymru Award for Best Actress for her work in the TV film The History of Mr Polly. Anne-Marie Duff has been a successful award-winning English actor who established herself on stage, radio and television. She achieved mainstream fame as Fiona Gallagher from the British comedy drama Shameless. Anne Marie has developed into an outstanding theatre actor following more than 20 years of stage work, which includes working with The Royal National Theatre.
